Due to circumstances beyond our control we are sorry to announce that both Three Violet Buttons and Norah George are no longer able to exhibit at this year’s Yarningham.

On the bright side it gives us an excuse to post a picture of David Bowie’s album Hunky Dory.

Post 8 in this year’s series of M.O.E (Meet Our Exhibitors) posts.

Today’s group of exhibitors produce symphonies on yarn, taking a dash of one colour, a spray of another to concoct SPLASHES AND SPECKLES skeins.

Norah George is an indie yarn dyer, inspired by popular culture and nature.

Beehive Yarns create hand dyed yarn with a vintage twist across a range of yarn bases. Their colourways are inspired by music, travel and film and have a retro aesthetic.

Down Sheepy Lane‘s colours are inspired by nature, fandoms and Debbie’s favourite books. Debbie also make drawstring project bags, stitchmarkers and creates themed kits around books or films.

At Unbelievawool they love colour and hope to find at least one or two for everyone. All yarns are dyed in Dorset using ethically sourced yarns.

Yarn Lab UK produces beautiful hand dyed yarns in North West England.
