Yarningham looks sees and does a yarn festival differently. One of our core aims is to bring you the best independent producers, dyers, designers, online retailers and bricks and mortar shops to our marketplace.
We are committed to seeking out new talent and unearthing existing hidden gems. This means we are constantly looking for and researching potential companies and individuals to invite to apply for our marketplace.
From 2016 – 2019 we have had 107 exhibitors in our marketplace. That’s 107 exhibitors packs that have been created with all the information that an exhibitor needs to exhibit at Yarningham, 214 invoices sent (deposit and balance) and 107 badges made for the website.
That’s quite an achievement and something to be proud of.
Our venue Uffculme Centre is fully accessible. The Yarningham marketplace is located on one level with step free access throughout. Yarningham workshops are all located on the first floor with access via steps or a lift.
We have also created complimentary Personal Assistant tickets for the marketplace and all of our workshops. They can be booked alongside your own tickets on the ticket website.
Almas sells a range of hand dyed spinning fibre and hand spun yarn as well as dyed and natural yarns. She also makes stitch markers, project bags, gift boxes of handspun yarns and hand dyed mini skein sets made from hand spun fibre.
Zuzana lives in a tiny house with her two dogs and lots of yarn, wool and fabric. When not at work, her garage is transformed into a dying studio where she experiments with natural dyes made from plants and flowers collected during dog walks or grown on her allotment. She also designs toys and sells kits to knit them with.
