This weekend Stitches and Hos will be taking part in Made in Kings Heath Open Studios Trail. The trail takes place over 3 venues on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November.
We will have a selection of hand knitted gifts, jewellery and seasonal products including our new large baubles pictured above.

We are very pleased to announce that this year, Yarningham will be supporting Knit Aid.
Knit Aid is a social enterprise helping knitters to help others in need. Knit Aid was set up as a response to the refugee crisis in Europe, in particular the many refugees that had travelled to France and have been living in cold and harsh conditions.
Knit Aid started their knitted donations with Calais but are proud to have extended our distribution to Dunkirk, various locations in Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria.
At this year’s Yarningham will be holding a raffle stuffed full of fabulous yarny prizes with all profits going to Knit Aid. More details about the prizes coming soon.
Also at Yarningham, City Knits will be running a collection point to gather donated items. City Knits will also be on hand to offer advice on patterns, suitable yarns and will have kits available to buy.
So, we are asking you our lovely stitchers to pick up those needles and hooks, raid your stash and make something for someone in need.
What can I make/knit/crochet?
Knit Aid work with volunteers who work in the refugee camps to make sure that they are only sending donations which are needed and useful. Because of this, Knit Aid are currently only accepting the following items:
Please do not make anything other than that listed above. Knit Aid can accept both knitted and crocheted items.
On Saturday we held a hootenanny at Sin Eater Festival to celebrate World Wide Knit In Public Day.
A big thank you to David and Liz from Sin Eater for hosting us, everyone who came to get their stitch on and most of all to the knitting weather gods who supplied us with some sunshine.

We’ll be hosting a pre Yarningham Hootenanny to get you in the mood for our very first wool show.
So bring whatever’s on your needles and come get your stitch on.
All are welcome. You don’t even have to be good!
