The Communitas Wellbeing Project is a multi-cultural, multi-faith project based in
Birmingham. It brings together groups from different communities to help improve
wellbeing and tackle isolation amongst residents aged 55 and over.
The project provides opportunities for social interaction, assessment and support of
needs, chances for education and skills training and opportunities to get advice from
experts to help with wellbeing.
This project is overseen by Birinus and delivered by a partnership of: Birmingham
Irish Association, Muslim Education Consultative Committee (MECC Trust), English
Martyrs & St Anne’s Roman Catholic Church and Ward End Asian Elders Welfare
Association.
