M.O.E post 7 – SOLIDS AND SATURATED

Post 7 in this year’s M.O.E (Meet Our Exhibitors) series.

This group of exhibitors are known for drenching and steeping their yarns to produce gorgeous SOLIDS AND SATURATED skeins.

First up River Knits.  River Knits hand dye British wool yarns in their floating dye studio – a narrowboat. Yarns range from laceweight, through sock, up to DK in range of colours inspired by our life on the waterways.

River Knits also have a huge selection of mini skeins with 60 colours in total.  They also supply knitting needles and stitch markers.

Phileas Yarns was born out of two passions – travelling and knitting. Inspired by Sylvie’s journeys and wanders – past or yet to come, she has created a collection of affordable hand dyed yarns focused on colour. Every colour has a story behind it, and there is nothing Sylvie likes better than to share these with you.

The Knitting Swede is a UK based business focusing on high quality yarns.  When sourcing yarns Tanja not only looks at the quality but she is also careful to choose ethical British suppliers.

All of Tanja’s yarns are hand-painted or hand-dyed by herself at home. During the dyeing process, she tries to minimize her impact on the environment as well as neutralizing any leftover water.
