Yarningham 2018

uffculme_centrerear800

We are very pleased to announce the third edition of our fibre festival Yarningham.

Yarningham 2018 will take place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 July 2018.  It will feature an expanded marketplace, extended workshop programme and lots more that we can’t tell you about just yet.

What we can tell you is that we have a new venue.  Yarningham 2018 will be held at Uffculme Centre, Birmingham. It was built in 1891 for Richard Cadbury and his family. Gifted to the city in 1916, it has now been converted into a training and conference centre.

Applications for marketplace exhibitors will open on Monday 18 September. Application forms will be available to download from our website from midday.

Hootenannies are back

hootenannies2017

We are very pleased to announce that after a long hiatus our monthly stitch hootenannies are back.

If you’re new to Stitches and Hos, we originally started as a monthly get together in the back room of a pub.  Our meet ups are a chance to trade tips and tricks, meet new people and plan our stitch revolution whilst supping a pint.

Our new hootenannies will be held at Tilt on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.  Our first hootenanny will be on Wednesday 11 October 2017 from 6-9pm.

Tilt is a multi-functional space that celebrates craft beer, specialty coffee and pinball.
They also currently offer 10 different loose leaf teas, 5 different hot chocolates, a range of soft drinks, wines and small selection of high quality spirits.
