Yarningham raffle star prize

Behold the Yarningham raffle star prize.

We really are good to you stitchers.  Our star prize in this year’s Yarningham raffle is 2 skeins of this luxurious base yarn dyed to your own specification by Yarn Angels.

The base is 4ply weight, 400m 50% silk, 50% merino.  Lizzie and Fiona from Yarn Angels will weave their dying magic to create 2 OOAK skeins just for you.

To be in with a chance of winning you’ll need to buy a raffle ticket at this year’s Yarningham.  Raffle tickets will be £1 each or a strip of 5 tickets for £4.  All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Knit Aid.

Boris and Donald

You may have met Boris and Donald at Yarningham last year.  Boris and Donald were designed as the Yarningham mascots by the very talented Ruth Green.

This year we got in touch with Emma from Yarnistry to fabricate Boris and Donald from laser cut plywood. We think they are wonderful.  Thanks Emma!

They have been produced in a limited edition of 10 of each design.  Each brooch will be £8.  You can pick up your own Boris or Donald (or both) at Yarningham.
