Pre Yarningham Hootenanny
Hey everyone. Just a reminder of our pre Yarningham get together. It is being held on the 15th July at 19.30 at the British Oak pub – which coincidentally is a 2 minute walk from the Yarningham venue! We will be sitting and knitting and getting to know people so come along and meet us all!
Yarningham Raffle Star Prizes
I am extremely excited to announce the star prizes for our Yarningham raffle.
Our first star prize is a bundle of 2 skeins
L-R Dye For Yarn, Mulberry Silk in Dolphin in my Whirlpool colour way 100% silk, 750m
Canon Hand Dyes, William Merino Gradient in Selfridges colour way, 75% merino, 25% nylon 460 yds.
There are only 12 cakes of the Canon Hand Dyes Selfridges colour way in existence and there won’t be any more.
Our second star prize is 2 alpaca fleeces from Animal Encounters. Cookies and Cream have donated their fleeces so that one lucky person will be able to spin, weave or dye 100% alpaca fleece into something truly unique.
To be in with a chance of winning the star prizes or any of the other raffle prizes you’ll need to buy a raffle ticket at Yarningham. Raffle tickets cost £1 each or £4 for 5. Winners will be drawn on Monday 18 July.

Yarningham brochures
Our Yarningham brochures have arrived.
A big thanks to Ben Javens for designing the layout. Another big thanks to Kirsten McTeer who has donated a sock pattern called ‘Bournville Socks’. The pattern is named after Bournville, an area of Birmingham, famous worldwide as the home of Cadbury’s. In fact the Cadbury factory is just behind our Yarningham venue.
Don’t forget to pick a brochure up when you attend Yarningham.
